Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 11, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how GypsyLight LLC ("we", "us", or "the shop") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit our website or take part in our readings, coaching sessions, classes, events, and shop.
1. Who We Are
GypsyLight LLC is a mindful, mystical, spiritual shop located at 42 W. Chicago St, Coldwater, MI 49036. We offer tarot readings, spiritual coaching, workshops and classes, community gatherings, and metaphysical goods.
If you have any questions about this policy or about your information, contact us at divinethreadsevents@gmail.com or 517-279-7836.
2. Information You Give Us
We collect information that you choose to provide to us. This happens in a few ways:
- Booking a session, reading, or coaching appointment through this site: the name, phone number, and email address you enter with your booking.
- Class and event sign-ups: names, phone numbers, and email addresses for each registered participant.
- Contact by phone, email, or in person, including questions about readings, coaching, classes, or products.
- Information a parent or legal guardian provides when signing up a minor for a class or event.
3. Information Collected Automatically
Our website is a set of informational pages plus booking and sign-up forms. We do not run advertising trackers and we do not currently use analytics cookies.
Our hosting provider automatically records standard server logs when you visit, which can include your IP address, browser type, device information, and the pages you request. These logs exist to operate the site, measure reliability, and protect against abuse.
4. How We Use Information
We use the information described above to:
- Schedule and run readings, coaching sessions, classes, and events, including contacting participants about the bookings and programs they signed up for.
- Respond to questions and requests.
- Operate, maintain, and improve the website.
- Protect the safety and security of our shop, staff, and guests.
- Comply with legal obligations.
5. Classes and Gatherings
Classes, workshops, and community gatherings are group settings. Your name may be shared with the person leading the session and, simply by taking part, may be known to other participants. If you have concerns about how your name is used in connection with a class or gathering, let us know and we will work with you.
6. Third-Party Services and Links
Parts of our website link to services run by other companies. When you use them, their privacy policies apply, not this one. We encourage you to review their policies:
- Google Maps, which we link to for directions.
- Facebook, which we link to for social updates.
7. Children's Privacy
Our website is a general audience site and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. Sign-ups involving a minor are completed by a parent or legal guardian, by phone, or in person. Any information we hold about a minor is provided to us by that parent or guardian for the purpose of running the class or event.
A parent or legal guardian may contact us at any time to review the information we hold about their child, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, and we will honor those requests except where we are required to keep records by law.
We do not publish photos or videos of minors on this website or on our social media without written permission from a parent or legal guardian.
8. How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
We share information only as needed to run our services and website:
- With service providers that help us operate, such as our website hosting provider and our database provider.
- When required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of the shop, our guests, or others.
- In connection with a sale or transfer of the business, in which case this policy would continue to apply to the transferred information.
9. Data Retention
We keep booking, registration, and correspondence records for as long as they are needed to run the relevant service and for ordinary business record keeping, then delete or archive them. Server logs are retained by our hosting provider on their standard schedule.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the information we hold. The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). That said, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Your Choices and Rights
You can contact us at any time to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it. You can also ask us to stop contacting you about anything other than a booking or program you are actively registered in. We will respond to reasonable requests promptly.
12. Changes to This Policy
If we add features that change how information is collected (for example, online accounts or online purchasing), we will update this policy and change the date at the top. Continued use of the site after an update means the updated policy applies.
